Medical expenses as needed for our Sanctuary
residents and our pups who are in
Foster care.

And this is Woody - who came to us as Beaumont and since we already
had a Beau we started calling him Woody.  Many folks came forward to
offer to help to support Woody medically so that we could accept him
into our program.  Woody had a bad heart so we began to work on
getting him settled in and stabilized before doing his very necessary
dental work.

Woody was with us just long enough to capture the hearts of any and all
who were around him.  I began to call him my Pillsbury Dough dog....he
was a little feisty ball of mushy pup.

Woody decided that he was the official Fence Guard so when any of the
dogs who were playing in the big dog back yard came anywhere near
the fence line of the small pups yard he would sound the alarm.  He
stationed himself either on the stairs or under them so that he could
keep a lookout for any interlopers.

Woody suddenly became ill one Tuesday evening - we think he had the
doggie flu and since he was so medically compromised he had a very
hard time fighting it off.  We had to take him to the Vet Hospital where
the Doctors brought him back from the brink of leaving us with their
heroic efforts.  Everyone was hopeful and optimistic that Woody would
be coming home but on Saturday morning just 5 days after he became
really sick Woody had a heart attack and passed away.

Sadly even thought Woody is no longer with us and we miss him every
day, his medical bills really added up and we still need to pay off that
debt.

Thank you for any support you can give in Woody's memory and honor.

Additional Ongoing Needs are:

Payment towards our current outstanding Vet Debt
which is approximately $1
0,000.00.

Food and supplies for our Sanctuary Residents.

SANCTUARY IMPROVEMENTS

Freddie is one of the
newest members
of the
HWAH family.

He was given to us by his
owners
who had him since
he was a puppy.  Freddie is
now 10 years old.  His
previous people said he
was a nuisance
because of
constant barking and
peeing everywhere.

As soon as we saw his
bloody urine we knew
Freddie had a serious
problem.
He had a sharp
bladder stone that made
u
rinating extremely painful.
The surgery
to remove the
stone
has already been
successfully performed by
Dr. Kim Neville.  Freddie is
recuperating nicely and
dreaming of a home where
folks will love him
FOREVER!!!

We need your donations to
help us cover the costs for
his medication
s and
operation. Any help you can
give us is always greatly
appreciated.

Freddie is a lovable
dachshund who all of the
volunteers love
very much
and
he is so very sweet.
Now he will be able to enjoy
the rest of his life
.

We hope to find a Foster
home or Adoptive home for
Freddie as he still has lots
of love to share!!
Muffin is a sad little Bijon.
Her previous Owners
also had her since she
was a puppy.  Muffin was
recently diagnosed by her
Vet with possibly having
Leukemia.  Her Owners
were not able to give her
the care she needed so
they dropped her off at
MCHS.

The Rescue Team at
MCHS called HWAH and
requested we accept
Muffin into our program.

We are delighted to be
able to give Muffin love
and attention for as long
as she has with us.  We
are hopeful that we will
be able to determine
what her medical issues
are and be able to give
her more time to be loved
by the HWAH Staff and
Volunteers.

Further diagnostics need
to be done to correctly
identify what this sugar
sweet dog has wrong
within her.  Most likely
Muffin has low immunity
with her cancer, but we
need donations to get a
solid answer.  She loves
to cuddle in your arms
and watch t.v as you pet
her.  Thank you for any
help you can give to us
to
help Muffin.  She will send
you slurpy licks of
appreciation!!!
Buster is a little stout
beagle that has chronic
bladder inflammation
and is in serious need
of dental work.

Buster
was brought to
us by the
Montgomery
County
Humane
Society, and we fell in
love with him in the
front yard.

Your donations will help
us cover the
costs of
his
surgery, his
medication, supplies,
and everything else he
will be in need of during
his stay here at House
With A Heart.

Buster loved to be in
the backyard with his
HWAH Hospital Ward
mates exploring his
new home.

He is a sad little sight
now - following a
difficult exploratory
surgery.   He will lift his
head when we walk in
the room and struggle
to his feet to make sure
he gets his cuddles.

Pray for Buster while
he continues with his
recovery process.

Thank you for helping to
support Buster.
